Each sequence of Yoga starts with an initial relaxation to focus our mind.
We continue to practice breathing exercises (Pranayama) which are the basic for all that we are going to do next.
The warm up can be the Sun Salutation or other exercises to activate the muscles and stimulate the heart and circulation of the blood.
We move on to asanas (poses/postures) that focus on muscle stretching and their relaxation.
Inverted poses increase the blood supply to the head, which improves the function of the brain and the thyroid gland.
We continue with asanas to focus more on muscle strengthening or exert more pressure on your inner organs.
Each sequence ends with a final relaxation.
Meditation is a part of our sequence – it depends on the level and interests of YOU!
